Chad Ochocinco (wide receiver for the New England Patriots) and on-screen girlfriend Evelyn Lozada have yet another reason to celebrate their highly profitable relationship!
VH1 has given the media obsessed couple their very on reality show based on the overwhelming attention and popularity they’ve received from ‘Basketball Wives: Miami’. Lozada has been the lead ‘wife’ for four seasons, beginning with the end of her engagement to basketball player Antoine Walker, before she moved on to Ochocinco.
VH1 confirmed that it’s an 8-part series titled, ‘Ev and Ocho’, which will air sometime in September, leading up to a two-episode finale of their wedding. The show will chronicle the months leading up to their wedding, the two searching for a new home, and how they navigate the rocky waters of new relationship while at the same time handling the pressures that comes with instant fame and notoriety. Hopefully this marriage last more than 72 hours unlike another reality show vixen’s nuptials. Cheers!

I found the time and watched Basketball Wives on netflix…all three seasons. I have to say that although Evelyn has her flaws and she appears to be mean, I like her style, and her personality. I mean, if we really knew her as a person stemming from when she was young and what she may have experienced, we would probably understand why she behaves the way she does. I mean, she’s a young beautiful woman who obviously has her head on straight. Even though she doesn’t make the best decisions (many of us don’t) there is nothing wrong with her going for what she wants although it’d be nice if she wasn’t so rough with it. But hey, tha’ts part of her charm and it’s gotten her this far. Hopefully she’ll realize her worth as an individual and we will see the real Evelyn shine. God still loves her in spite of her flaws and I’m sure one day, she’ll realize that and focus on what He has planned for her.
