Relive Christina Aguilera‘s memorably unfiltered appearance on MTV‘s TRL back in 2004.
When the ‘Beautiful’ singer was asked by then-host Quddus about a few choice words she made to ‘Blender Magazine’ regarding fellow pop star Britney Spears, things got awkwardly uncomfortable to say the least.
As always Aguilera was brutally honest and kept it 100% concerning the alleged rivalry between herself and Spears–do you agree with her comments?

All that talk about Britney, now look where she is compared to Britney…. Britney sold more records than her, more sold out shows and even tho she went thru her situation, she is STILL RELEVANT….. they are both irrelevant with flop sales presently. britney is not even platinum in the US yet /off the bb 200 mnths ago. Xtina is gone. she is working hard to get her fan base back after bionic. who cares with these two crackheads.

In 2006 she spoke about Brits breakdown need to find that vid and in 2010 never once judged Britney and this interview was even before BIONIC came out or the personal troubles in her own life!

christina’s burlesque album stayed on the bb 200 chart for 50 some weeks. many more weeks longer than britney’s femme fatal and christina’s was a soundtrack.
femme fatale is britney’s worst selling album to date. it’s questionable whether it has even sold 1 million ww.
the maroon 5 featuring christina was # 1 on the bb chart for about 7 weeks and was in the top 20 for about 30 weeks.
christina is co-host to a very successful tv show. so if jlo can be touted as a superstar, so can christina. btw christina’s bionic debut sales were twice that of jlo’s love album.
