The strides Oprah Winfrey has made both as a media juggernaut and as a charitable force are rightfully recognised as “legendary”.
Yet, as former talk-show host publicly acknowledged, her position would not have been possible without the achievements of those before and around her. Armed with this reality, Winfrey staged an elaborate 3-day luncheon christened ‘Oprah Winfrey’s Legends Ball’ in 2005.
The elaborate function saw O assemble iconic names from the worlds of entertainment, literature, and beyond, to honor their influence on the world at large.
Watch as the likes of Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Tina Turner, Maya Angelou, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and more, interact and celebrate each other in a way never seen before.
Wholly inspiring!
