In aid of his critically acclaimed LP ‘Hello Earth‘, Jermaine Riley releases the video for the guitar driven cut ‘Smallville’.
The follow up to ‘Key To The City’, the Lilian Ampon directed clip was launched by SUPERspective Entertainment last week, and is now available for your viewing pleasure above…
Our two cents:
Above any of his other releases, ‘Small’ is undoubtedly Jermaine’s strongest effort- owning all the trappings of an R&B crossover hit.
It’s only let down- if we’re to be honest- is its video.
Yes, while it showcased all the things that make Riley tick as a performer, it failed to live up to the song’s creativity, at times more literal than we would have liked.
However, with or without the video, the cut’ quality reaffirms the star’s ever growing hype and his status as R&B’s most promising maestro- home and away.
