There are only a matter of weeks before the launch of ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 5.

Succesfully keeping details of this season’s premise under wrap, this week saw details from Camp Bravo emerge pertaining to the show’s alleged newbie- Porsha Williams.

According to Reality Tea and Straight From The A:

First of all, she actually IS a Housewife and is married to Kordell Stewart, a retired NFL player who played 11 seasons most recently with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The two tied the knot last year. 

Secondly, Porsha is an Atlanta native (unlike Kenya who reportedly relocated to join the cast) and currently lives in Buckhead, GA – a suburb.

As for her pedigree, Porsha is the granddaughter of legendary civil rights leader Rev. Hosea Williams.

She is also very active in the church and her grandfather’s philanthropic organization. Hopefully this means she’ll stay above the fray (re: not sinking to any NeNe Leakes levels of trashiness).

SFTA also reports that Porsha has been taping with the cast for about a month and so far, so good. She apparently attended the 2012 Runway Red Safari Wonderland Kid’s Fashion Show with NeNe, Cynthia, and Phaedra Parks.
