As the masses adjusts to a world without Whitney Houston, so too are her family. And while for many such recuperation occurs privately, the late singer’s family have invited cameras to document theirs.
The finished result? ‘The Houstons: On Our Own’.
Set to debut on Lifetime on October 24th, the reality serial chronicles the lives of Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, as well as brother Gary and his wife Pat, as they collectively try to get back on their feet. The show will also feature Bobbi’s boyfriend Nick Gordon.
While we’re not sure a Houston reality show (with this theme) is what folk asked for nor should we be getting, we’d be lying if we said we wouldn’t be watching. Here’s hoping it veers more towards the tasteful side of the tracks.

Sorry but this just seems too damn fishy to me. I mean, damn, first they cant get their facts str8 about the (cough) murder (cough) of Whitney and now they have a damn show about life after her passing and it aint even been a year yet. I can’t be the only one who feels that there is some salt in this family’s Tea.
