Strike a pose!
At any point those three words are uttered many-a-pop culture fanatic is instantly drawn to thoughts of the 1990 hit by Queen of Pop Madonna. Originally released as a B-side to one of her late 80s offerings, the song quickly took on a life of its own after its now iconic video paid homage to the era of Golden Hollywood and even namechecked some of its biggest stars.
Quite a feat for a woman whose catalog (at the time) already consisted of megahits ‘Like a Prayer’, ‘Like A Virgin’, ‘Papa Don’t Preach’, and more, the song and visual for ‘Vogue’ have long been fan-favorites and consistently listed in the upper rankings of ‘Greatest Video Ever‘ countdowns. But, much like the visual, Madge has made each live offering of the hit song its own distinctive showing – leaving fans in awe each step of the way.
